  1. One prompt, every day.

    Everyone gets the same category. You have five different answers and as much thinking time as you like.

  2. The AI commits first.

    JEV ranks a reviewed answer pool and seals ten predictions on the server before you play. They stay fixed for everyone that day. A valid answer outside that list is a win for you. A predicted answer gives the machine a point.

  3. Make the unexpected count.

    A surprise earns 25 points plus up to 75 rarity points. Rarity uses the share of today’s players who gave the same answer. Scores update as people play and become final at midnight UTC. The prediction list is revealed after all five answers.

Powered by JEV. Each day, JEV ranks a reviewed pool of answers and the server seals its ten predictions. Familiar answers are validated instantly; unfamiliar answers are sent to TypeSafe’s JEV service to check whether they fit and match an existing answer.

Rarity comes from real accepted answers, not AI estimates. One signed-in player counts once per answer. A surprise scores 25 + round(75 × (1 − matching players / all participating players)). Scores stay provisional until midnight UTC. Invalid answers and outages cost no chances.

We store your answers and a random browser identifier in a secure cookie to save progress and count rarity. Each browser session counts as one player; this is not a verified count of unique people. Clearing cookies or changing browsers starts a new history. JEV receives the prompt and answer, never your name or email. No advertising trackers. AI judgments can be imperfect; try a clearer name if an answer is uncertain.
